Terms of Use
This document forms a legal agreement between KurdTube (the "platform") and any person who uses its services (the "user"). By creating an account or using the platform, you accept these terms in full.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must stop using the platform.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
The platform is available to users aged 13 and over. Users between 13 and 17 must use the service with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. Any activity carried out through your account is your responsibility.
2. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you upload. KurdTube claims no ownership over it.
By uploading, you grant the platform a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to store, display, transmit, and technically adapt your content, strictly to the extent necessary to operate the service. This licence ends when you delete the content.
3. Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on the platform:
- Uploading content that infringes another person's copyright
- Sexual, nude, or otherwise inappropriate material in any form
- Incitement to violence, hatred, or discrimination on grounds of nationality, religion, gender, or ethnicity
- Threats, harassment, or abuse directed at other users
- Publishing another person's private information without their consent
- Fraud, deception, or attempts to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating another person
- Sending spam or unsolicited advertising
- Selling, advertising, or arranging the sale of weapons, ammunition, explosives, drugs, stolen or counterfeit goods, or any item that is illegal in Iraq or the Kurdistan Region
4. Moderation and Content Removal
KurdTube reserves the right to remove any content that breaches these terms, without prior notice. Removal may follow automated screening or manual review by our moderation team.
We operate a strike system for repeat breaches. Accumulated strikes lead to temporary suspension and, where breaches continue, to permanent removal of the account.
5. Courses, Purchases, and Payment
The platform allows creators to sell courses and digital products. Prices are set by the creator and displayed in the platform's designated currency.
KurdTube takes a service fee from each transaction. This rate is disclosed clearly to the creator before a course is published.
All payments are processed through a licensed third-party payment provider. KurdTube does not receive or store card details.
5.1 Refunds
Refund requests are accepted within 14 days of purchase, provided the user has consumed no more than 20% of the course content. After this period, or where substantial content has been accessed, refunds are not available.
6. Creator Earnings
Earnings are credited to the creator's balance after deduction of the service fee and any payment processing costs. Payout requests are fulfilled once the balance reaches the stated minimum threshold.
KurdTube may withhold earnings where fraud or copyright infringement is suspected, pending the outcome of an investigation.
7. Platform Intellectual Property
The KurdTube name, logo, design, and source code are the exclusive property of the platform and may not be used, copied, or modified without written consent.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
KurdTube reserves the right to suspend or delete an account that breaches these terms, or engages in conduct harmful to other users or to the platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is". KurdTube does not warrant uninterrupted availability, freedom from error, or fitness for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the platform is not liable for indirect loss, loss of revenue, or loss of data arising from use of the service.
Content uploaded by users is their own responsibility. KurdTube does not verify its accuracy.
10. Governing Law
These terms are interpreted under the laws in force in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. Any dispute shall be resolved before the competent courts of the Kurdistan Region.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms as necessary. Users will be notified of substantial changes. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
